I am all about creating soft, enhancing looks, that elevate you and make you feel confident and beautiful. Makeup is not a one-size-fits-all; it has to be fluid, and adaptable so that it can co-exist alongside natural beauty instead of covering it up.

My clients are generally people who don’t wear that much makeup on a daily basis but also love how it can make them feel. They appreciate the little details and well-thought-out design. They enjoy a little bit of luxury but in an understated way, they care about the small things that make a big impact.

Based in a little village just outside Kinross, I am lucky to be surrounded by spectacular hills and the tranquil Loch Leven. The M90 is a short 5-minute drive meaning that I have access to so many beautiful venues such as Kinross House, Dun Alein, Ballintaggart, Guardswell as well as The Cowshed, Kinkell Byre, and Fallside Mill which are located close by in the East Neuk.

How I got here.

My path to becoming a makeup artist was a windy one…

After embarking on a career in Public relations I discovered that it was never going to be a career that fulfilled me. Whilst on maternity leave with my first daughter, I had a lightbulb moment and decided to retrain as a makeup artist. My mum and sister both worked in Fashion and I had grown up around the glossy images of immaculate makeup in the pages of Vogue and the like. I appreciated the clothes, but it was the faces that had my attention. I was enamored with how the different makeup looks could change the whole look and feeling just by colour placement or a graphic liner.

My passion lies in how I make people feel, the look on their faces when I show them the mirror and the words “ I feel so beautiful”.

So you could say the urge has always been there I just imagined I would be writing about beauty looks instead of creating them. Once that lightbulb had gone off, it was a no-brainer, off I went to London to study at the prestigious AOFM and I have never looked back.

But it’s the everyday makeup looks that have grabbed me - seeing the smile, the shoulders going back and the confidence rising. Bridal has my heart and I cannot express how much my brides mean to me and how honored I am to be asked to be part of one of the biggest moments in their life.
