My passion isn't rooted in what makeup makes you look like it’s about how it makes you feel. I understand that makeup is subjective and that everyone has different preferences and opinions. The aim is to empower you so you walk down the aisle brimming with confidence. My approach is to guide you rather than impose and I do this by listening to your preferences and looking at your ideas so that I can use my skills and expertise to create a bridal look that is not only beautiful but unique, elegant, and timeless yet modern.
Around 40% of my brides live outside of Scotland - I know that planning a wedding from a distance brings with it a whole other range of stresses and constraints and this is why I aim to be as flexible as I can for these clients. I know that trials may not always be possible and my experience within the industry means that I have the confidence to create your wedding look without the need for a physical meeting. I just adapt our ways and gather all the information needed through various other methods such as Skype meetings or specifically designed questionnaires - leaving you more time to focus on the other areas.
With over ten years of bridal experience under my belt and having worked with hundreds of brides to create bespoke looks that allow them to feel radiant and self-assured; I know how weddings work, I know what to expect and I know how to put clients at ease. Trials usually take place around 6 - 8 weeks prior to your Wedding, due to booking commitments they are held mid-week at my home studio. It is a great time to finally meet you and hear all about the other elements of your wedding.
Pre-Wedding Consultations
Six months before your Wedding
I will send you an online consultation form to get some background information about your skin and if you have any concerns that you would like my advice on. I will then curate a bespoke skincare regime complete with product recommendations tailored to your need. I will check in around 4 weeks after to see if any tweaks need to be made.
After booking your trial date
You will be sent another form to gather all your thought and ideas for your bridal styling. You will be able to add photos of your dress and any inspirational pics you may have collected.
At your trial
We will go over the information that you have put in your form and look at the photos, then the fun begins. I always go in with a lighter hand so that I can build upon the look until we reach perfection.
Follow up
Following your trial, you may have some minor tweaks or adjustments that you would like to make. This is no problem and your can email me to let me know of any changes or just let me know on the day of your Wedding.

Time works differently on a wedding morning. One moment you feel like you have hours ahead of you and the next it’s 10 mins before you need to depart and you still need to get your veil placed. I remove some of this stress by creating a suggested timeline, liaising with the other suppliers where need be. All you have to do is allocate the names.

Assisting with veils, buttoning dresses, putting shoes on, and taking flowers out of the water. Think of me as an extra pair of hands as well as your makeup artist!

After a quick analysis of your skin on the morning of your Wedding, I will prep accordingly; this could be with a 10 min sheet mask or a mini facial. All will be bespoke to your skin’s needs.

Strip, half or individual lashes will be available to you to complete your bridal look if you should desire them.

Yes, you are more than welcome to book for a trial before paying your booking deposit however your date will not be secure until a booking deposit has been received meaning that someone could secure it before you have your trial.

As long as my diary availability allows for it then you may book in other members of your bridal party, however my home studio only holds a max of 3 people at one time so you many need to do it over a few sessions.

I don’t have a particular preference for what order hair and makeup take place however I always recommend hair first if it is a blow dry service.

No, there is no upper limit on numbers however any bookings over 6 will require an assistant and a supplement payment will be due.

Yes, I welcome elopement bookings and have packages available for hair and makeup as well as just makeup services.

I always recommend trials however I understand that there may be some instances where they can’t take place such as when clients live outside Scotland. If that is the case I am happy to arrange a quick zoom call.

I am happy to use clients’ own makeup however I must stress that I have quite a large makeup kit with a selection of foundations and products for every skin type.

Yes, I also offer manicures and brow styling alongside makeup services. Click here to book online.

Numbers can be adjusted up to 6 weeks before the date if under 6 people and 8 weeks before the date if over 6 people. After these dates, the original numbers will be applicable and charged accordingly. There is a minium of 4 people for bridal bookings.

Don’t worry! Most of my clients have never been in the makeup chair before. That’s why I always suggest a trial - not only to create your bespoke look but also to put you at ease. I always go in with a lighter hand so looks can be built up to the desired level.

Absolutely, I always ask for you to wear the makeup for at least a few hours and report back to me with any changes. My aim is to create a look that you are 100% happy with and sometimes that means making some small adjustments.

I have no limits to how far I travel. All I ask is that if your venue is more than 1.5 hours away then overnight accommodation should be provided.
